Survey Name: Aerial laser scanning and photography in basic erosion and sediment control survey Part 2 Data Range: Akitakata City at Otagawa River area、Tsuda elementary school district at Hatsukaichi City Summary of Data: In this survey, aerial laser scanning (map information level 1000) was conducted in Akitakata City (538 km2) and Tsuta Elementary School District (80 km2) in Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, and aerial photogrammetry (map information level 2500) was conducted in Akitakata City with the aim of creating fundamental erosion and sediment control geospatial data required for setting a sediment disaster and other hazard areas. In addition, new places with the danger of sediment disaster were extracted in the same areas, using the results of this surveying and existing data. The creation range for numerical map (61 km2) was set based on the extracted places in which a fundamental erosion and sediment control geospatial map (map information level 2500) was created efficiently and precisely with aerial photography using contour lines from aerial laser scanning.
